Lynette falling apart breaks my heart in so many ways.
Just watched “Skin of Evil” the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Lieutenant Tasha Yar is killed.

And at the end of the episode during the memorial service when Data tells Picard that he is confused as to the purpose of the service. He says that his thoughts are not for Tasha but for himself, because he can only think of how empty his life will be without her presence. He asks if he has missed the point, but Picard assures him that he got it … I totally choked up.
Godspeed, Tasha.

Totally had a Gay Nerd Out tonight. ^_^
A little back story first … I recently started watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix; I didn’t stick with the series when it originally aired after they killed of Lieutenant Tasha Yar (she was my favorite as a kid and I really took it personal and sort of semi boycotted the show - don’t piss off an 11 year old TV execs! I’ll stop watching your show and then you’ll see! LOL! But at the same time I was getting older and was actually watching less and less tv as I was heading into my teen years … oh how times have changed).
So back to my Gay Nerd Out … I got to the first season episode “When the Bough Breaks” tonight and when one of the guest star “aliens” came on the screen I knew I knew her and was racking my actor memory banks. When that didn’t work it was “TO THE INTERNET!” The actress playing Rashella (Brenda Strong) is the same actress that plays Mary Alice Young (and narrator/voice of the series) from Desperate Housewives; who I LOVE! I legit squealed with joy when I learned who it was. LOL! So yeah … that was my night. :D
They killed off a main character tonight on Desperate Housewives. I am actually quite in shock and a little shaken. It was well done but went by way to fast. Normally I would be in tears over something like this. They did a really nice “life flash before their eyes” montage; but I am still sad which I guess that means they did a good job. I actually yelled “NO!” out loud. I am not pissed at the show or anything but this better be a good plot point towards the finale because who it happened to and who it affects I don’t think they deserve it; not after all that they have gone through over the years. I can already bet I am going to be in tears next week since it will be the funeral.
Bill Mudron tried to imagined how he could take the madness of Animal Crossing to the next level. His final thought was to give it an awesome Parks & Recreation spin. This mash up would probably be pretty damn fun to play.
Brilliant
when a power outage hit my neighborhood friday night (in the middle of watching Friday the 13th mind you >_<); my internet and tv system got fried. being without internet i couldn’t update my tumblr so i will be doing a short series of “previously watched” to bring you all up to speed on my viewing and entertainment consumption.
Hello Tom.
(Made some gifs since I couldn’t find any of these)
(Couldn’t find the guinea pig eating the leg version)
If I had to pick 9 people to be my horcruxes…
This is the best thing to happen to me all day.
